Benefits of Head Therapy

Recommended for people with high blood pressure, high blood sugar, or high cholesterol to support cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health.

Promotes better sleep and may help with insomnia, vivid dreams, and frequent waking.

Supports healthy circulation and a more radiant complexion. After scalp treatment, facial care may help enhance facial absorption compared with facial care alone.

Helps care for the scalp and face as part of an anti-aging routine. Since scalp health can affect the overall appearance of the face and hair, anti-aging care can start with the scalp.

Helps relieve neck and shoulder tension and supports comfort in the neck and shoulder area.

Supports healthy circulation in the scalp and helps you feel refreshed, energized, and revitalized throughout the day.

Helps improve the appearance of dandruff and supports a healthier scalp.

Helps reduce excess oiliness and scalp itching.

Helps maintain healthy hair and scalp and may help reduce the appearance of premature graying and hair shedding.

Helps cleanse and refresh the scalp by removing buildup and impurities from hair and scalp products.

Summer wellness care to support the body in staying comfortable during the colder months by promoting relaxation and circulation.

Improves the look and feel of dry, coarse, tangled, split, or dull hair.

Symptoms of Blocked Meridians

If your body shows these signs, you should pay attention!

Numbness: Indicates that Qi can pass through, but blood circulation is insufficient.

Severe numbness: When numbness becomes very severe, it may indicate that both Qi and blood are not flowing properly.

Soreness / Aching: Indicates that the meridians are open, but there is insufficient Qi and blood.

Bloating / Distention: Indicates an excess of Qi. People with this type of constitution may be prone to anger; if Qi cannot flow out properly, a feeling of fullness or bloating may occur.

Pain: Simple, localized pain is attributed to blood stasis.

Itching: Indicates that Qi and blood are moving through the area. Itching can also occur while a wound is healing. However, this is different from generalized itching throughout the body.

Common Reactions When the Meridians in the Back Are Being Stimulated

Feeling very warm — Indicates that the meridians are being stimulated and circulation is improving.

Feeling very itchy — Indicates, according to traditional Chinese medicine, that the body has an excess of “wind” or internal heat associated with dryness.

Feeling very numb — Indicates that there may be areas of pain or discomfort in the body.

Bruising appears — Indicates, according to the traditional Chinese medicine interpretation, that there may be many areas of tension or “knots” that need to be worked on.

Feeling very cold — Indicates that the body has a strong tendency toward coldness.

Fluid or moisture appears — Indicates that the body has excessive “dampness.”

Feeling nothing — Indicates, according to the poster, that coldness has penetrated deeply into the body and that several sessions may be needed.
